All these in a new Broadway show that shed light on bipolar disorder of a suburban housewife and how it affects her family. Sounds weird for a musical? Well, it’s definitely better then Shrek the Musical or worse, Spiderman musical *shivers*.
I want to see this soooooo badly! I’ve bought the entire soundtrack I love it so much. If you ask me Alice Ripley definitely deserved that Tony! I was actually hoping it would win best musical over Billy Elliot, but I think that because of the bad economy, etc. people wanted lighter and happier musicals and NTN was too much… Hopefully it has a long, healthy run, because Aaron Tveit is INSANELY talented (along with the rest of the cast!)
Ughhhhhh Spiderman the musical makes me want to GAG. *shudders* Shrek actually kinda almost pulled it off, but it should NOT have been nominated for a Best Musical TONY!!!
