Le Soleil et La Lune,
Ain’t that in tune?
To call the Sun and The Moon,
which determine night, morning and noon.
Two opposing forces,
Never see each others’ faces,
Except in the twilight zone,
Where the beauty can never cloned.
They complement each others’ affair,
For two things so contraire,
How, you might ask?
It’s the grand design – that’s their task.
In the darkness of eclipse,
The moon blocks the sun bottoms to tips,
In the lighting of night,
The sun shines the moon with all its might.
They are Apollo and Artemis,
Who blessed the world with bliss.
They are Helios and Selene,
With Eos in between.
They bring light and life,
End hardships and strifes,
Without them Chronos is nothing,
Time would just be non-existing.
Again, how are two things so distinct,
Have such an unbreakable link.
To separate them is to challenge the design,
The great creations so divine.
Maybe we can learn a thing or two,
About relationship how-tos,
We can stop the fights, wars and strifes,
Find peace, help each other to better our lives.
Le Soleil et La Lune,
Such a soothing tune.
If only we can live it up,
The meaning behind that schlup.
Alas, dear mortal men,
If only we can say Amen,
To a world of peace and prosper,
Without any man made disaster.
P/S: Ok, this is just a nonsense poem came up in my head. It may seems like gibberish, but it my head it means something. And if we have the same head, you can see what i’m going at. But, i need to blog. So here you go. It’s not Shakespeare or Poe (DUH), but it’s le soleil et la lune.
Is this really your piece? I feel like strangling you now. Note: When Evanka Ellie uses the word strangle/kick/beat or any equivalent abusive verbs, it’s a compliment.
Ok I don’t know what Helios and Selene are. You make me feel like a dumb blonde(sorry blondies). I’m going to google for them now.
